Kapas is a little island only 6km away from the NE side of Malaysia, so it has mains electricity, unlike some other islands |
You can walk across the jungle interior to deserted bays on the other side |
Coral is just off the shore, so snorkling is very good |
This was where I spent some of my birthday |
Paul bravely walks over a deep chasm |
I say deep....... |
The fish and coral are so colourful and well worth the effort |
Later on we had a few drinks. It was a few hours after that, that burying Marie seemed the right thing to do |
Elie tried his hardest to stop us |
Not that Marie was that bothered |
It wasn't long after that..... |
....that swimming seemed the right thing to do |
Normally the animals in the jungle are too quick to take photos, but this one stopped and posed |
It's not all easy going when you're travelling. Sometimes you get soo tired..... |
The day after my birthday was brighter than I felt |
It was very picturesque and a relaxing and beautiful place to stay for a few days |
Or maybe a week or more if you really wanted to do nothing |
